1536 WE NOT ALL ARE THE EQUAL USA

Blowing and recovering, fleeing and loving, coming and going, always in the same direction, there has crossed Head of Cow entire Abya-Yala, of belly to belly, of Florida to California, scarcely accompanied by two Spanish, an African one, and a troop of Indians who quite dismiss sadness of people in people, and of country in country. It does not take sword, throws not even dirk, takes neither cuirass nor round shield, nevertheless it has covered more America than no other Spanish until now. It does not take gold.

And now it finds finally this Spanish avant-garde that throws itself to enslave his friends Seris who accompany him. He believes that his fortunes have just finished, does not know that in fact, they have just started.

Before saying goodbye of his Indian friends, he asks them to support the peace with the Spanish, since they are equal to him, the same people, the same people. The Seris do not believe him:

"You were coming from which there goes out the sun and they from which it puts itself; you cure those who are sick, and they kill those who are healthy; you come naked and barefooted and they dressed and in horses and with spears; you do not have thing greed any and everything all that is given you is given by you again and with nothing you remain and they do not have another end but to steal all that they find and ever to give anything to anybody."
