Customs of the Deang

The peoples Deang usually live in not very big villages, which spread over big territory, surrounded in most cases by the people of other minorities, as the Dai, Jingpo, Wa, or most of Chinese Han.

They have two types of house, of wood or of bamboo, generally of two apartments. In the lower one his domestic animals live, and they keep the hardware and farming implements. In of above it is where the persons sleep.
