Most of the Bulang live in the western south end of Xishuangbanna, in the outskirts of the mountain Bulangshan. | ||
|
Nongyang placed on the foot of the mountain, in the middle of soft hills, is provided with important tea plantations. | ||
|
To gather tea is one of the principal economic activities of Bulang de Nonyang. The way that leads to the village is surrounded with plantations. In the morning, a slow bulang procession speaks to the same ones. | ||
|
Due to the influence of the Dai Le (Dai de Xishuangbanna) the Bulang also they believe in the Buddhism Theravada. The males usually spend a period in the temple. | ||
|
Both the men and the women take the children to the back. Each one with his different caps, and all of them simultaneously different from those of the Bulang of other areas. | ||
|
While the biggest gather tea, the children are present at the school, the discipline is not so rigid as so that these girls do not take a rest. | ||
|
Nevertheless, the formal education cannot replace the role that the biggest realize in the education of the children. | ||
