Brief and concise introduction to the fundamental aspects of the culture hezhe, from his food and garment, to his familiar structure and matrimonial life, as well as his religion, art and literature.

Part of the book is dedicated to describing his life closely related to the fishing. Other one divides his culture, marriage and religion.

It is a report on the Hezhe of the village Jiejinkou in the Wuyuan district.

Myths, legends, heroic poems or "moriken" presented to the public in general.

There report on the Hezhe of the village Sipai in the county Xilinzi, of the district Luhe.

VVAA. - Hezhe zu jian shi (Brief history of the Hezhe). HLJRM. 1984. 248 pags.
This History of the Hezhe is of most detailed of this collection. It describes extensively his origin and the first migrations, and his relations with the Chinese from the dynasty Tang. The last part of the book describes this his culture based on the hunting and the fishing.

XU CHANGYU. - Hezhe zu wenxue (The literature of the Hezhe). Harbin. 1991. 445 pags.
He analyzes and presents some examples of the rich oral literature of the Hezhe, with sections dedicated to his myths, legends, singings of the shamans, proverbs, etc.
