Literature Jingpo

It has a complex mythology, as it corresponds to his religious world. Mythology that also, it is not the same for all the peoples of the system Jingpo. In general, like many peoples of the area, think that at the beginning of the world only a chicken existed the chaos, which they describe graphically like "incubating inside the egg".

Central personage in his mythology is a Ningguiwa, to whom in some of the myths the creation of the world assumes him. But in addition to him, there exists the richest pantheon of deities that take part, of a form or other one in the process of the creation.

The conquest of the fire, for example, is a work of Nanmuli, in a process in which the man loses the wings that it had in favor of the eagle, in those times without wings, but possessor of the fire. Between the complex world of his fables, stories and poems, stand out the led ones by the rascal Kaidan, ingenious, shameless, capable of cheating the one who puts himself ahead, it always manages to entertain the reader by means of making fun of the rich and powerful ones.
