You notice on the Chinese medicine

The Medicine China is the most important medicine of the not western ones, and it is the only one of the medicines developed by not western countries that has managed, along the history, to face the continuous achievements and advances of the skill western doctors without losing his prestige and without his essentials, development and results having been doubted. Moreover, every time it is considered to the Chinese medicine, with the whole philosophical and cultural baggage that it goes with it, the ideal complement to the western medicine. Since it might be said that the Chinese medicine starts where it finishes the western one and vice versa. As a general rule it is possible to be said that the Chinese medicine considers to the body like everything, and it attributes the illness to the imbalance between the different elements of the same one, for what his treatment, more that destined for the healing of a concrete symptom, it focuses on the reestablishment of the corporal balance, emphasizing the need to take a healthy life, the nutrition, the relaxation, the respiratory exercises and other measurements little used in Occident. The Western one, unfortunately, every time is used to treating the presentation of a concrete clinical picture to make to return to the body to his previous situation, without worrying that this previous situation is going to be the continuous source of new illnesses. The contrast that better sample the difference between both medicines is that doctor has taken place in practice in China, where the acute diseases are treated by western medicine, and the chronic processes for the traditional one.

The Chinese medicine has 3.000 years of history. Since in some bones and shells of turtle there have been engraved the names of some illnesses, his symptoms and his treatment. In 1.000 B.C. there already existed in China a doctors' body that was following a few methods for the treatment of the illnesses. In the Vth century B.C., there was written the Cannon of Internal Medicine, in which there were described numerous illnesses, his diagnosis and treatment. During the following centuries his development was rapid, appearing numerous famous doctors throughout the country. There are 14 agreements of medicine of this epoch that still survive nowadays. In the IInd century of our age, famous doctor Hua Tuo, realized abdominal operations anesthetizing his patients with a few anesthetic dust which composition is not known at present. In the following centuries there develop two of the most interesting facets of this science: the diagnosis for the pulse, and the acupuncture. And from the Xth century it is systematized like a medical science much more advanced than the western one, there are specialists in internal medicine, surgeons, pediatricians, gynecologists, and specialists in acupuncture and in medicinal massage.

The vaccines against the smallpox are used for the first time in China by Wang Qingren, at the beginning of the XIXth century, before they begin being used in Europe. In parallel with the medicine a pharmacopeia develops also the only, that from 365 herbs mentioned in the Cannon of Medical Matter, reach the number of 2.608 medicines in the middle of the XVIIIth century. Number that the western medicine will only reach some years ago. Nowadays in China the medical studies split still into Chinese and western medicine. And in general it is possible to be said that the Chinese resort to their own medicine for the chronic illnesses, and to the western medicine for the sharp ones.

Of the numerous medical skills of China, the acupuncture is the most renowned and the one that more followers has found in Occident. It consists basically of the stimulation with a few thin metallic needles, of the channels along which the energy of the body circulates. Considering the connection of these channels with the organs of our body, obtains with it the stimulation of the above mentioned organs and the treatment of the illnesses that affect them. The history of the acupuncture is so old as to that of the medicine in China, but there exist proofs that at least it has been 2.500 years since his basic beginning was formulated. Since then it did not stop being any more and more used. In all the countries of the world, every time there are more doctors who resort to the acupuncture for the treatment of different illnesses. It is considered that it is an effective and natural form, and that he avoids the side effects of the medicines.
The Chinese massage is a part of his traditional medicine. A perfect complement to the same one. Since the massage tries to stimulate the channels them for which it covers the corporal energy, and for a process similar to the one that it sustains to the acupuncture, to manage to improve the functioning of the organs related to this concrete point.

The use of the Chinese massage has spread enormously over this country. At present it is possible to receive a good massage in many hairdressing salons and hotels, clinics (some of them specializing in the massage of the blind persons, with more sensibility to detect the most needed places of being massaged), and even for the street, workpeople of state, badly full hospitals, offer to give massage to the passers-by, sometimes with a chair, or even with a prepared stretcher.

In China there are two types of massage especially advisable. One is the massage of head who accompanies generally to the wash, they give it in any hairdressing salon, and it is very cheap, and agreeable. The different one is the massage of the feet, of variable quality, since in some specializing places they realize first the feet wash with herbs, and then, following the theories of the reflex therapy, which he assures that every organ of the body has his reflex in a certain place of the plants of the feet, they massage scrupulously the feet looking for the stimulation of the different organs.
It is an ancient Chinese therapeutic skill that it might translate literally like "study of the air", since one of his basic beginning is the control of the respiration by means of the concentration and a series of gymnastic exercises.

By means of the study of the air and the control of the respiration, the person who practises the Qigong thinks about how to support a good physical form, and harmonize the body and the mind. But not only that, since according to the Chinese traditional medicine, the air that we breathe is covering the whole body across a few channels (as according to the traditional medicine the oxygen of the air comes to the different organs by means of the transport of the red globules in the blood), and under control of this air to control the stress and other aggressions that the organism suffers, and to increase the vital energy of the organism, what gives major resistance to the illnesses, and he assures a long life.

Nowadays, millions of citizens of the people's republic China practise the qigong. In the morning early, from 6 a.m., the parks and gardens are a bubbling of the people that, alone, or with the help of a teacher, they practise qigong. To the dusk, the cities fill with persons who finish the day with his daily qigong exercises. Each one takes the rhythm that adapts itself to his body, they all are sure that the continued practice of the qigong will bring to them the longevity. And they must not walk very wrong, since China, in spite of being a developing country, all that with a population whose life expectancy is very next to that of the developed country.

It is the called traditional Chinese boxing. Some of them call him to fight with the air because his slow movements do to him to look like more a few respiratory exercises than a type of combat. The taijiquan has his origin in the exercises taoístas destined to facilitate the integration of the individual in the universe, they were therefore destined to absorb the energy of the sky, of the ground, and of the stars. Although any other element of the nature is capable of transmitting his energy to the man qualified to receive it. And of that it is precisely about what the taijiquan treats. Of developing in the persons the aptitude to absorb the different energies of the nature.

To obtain these objective every school he proposes the systematization of different movements. Movements that, in spite of being very slow, suppose a big control of the corporal musculature, it is for it therefore the taijiquan collaborates with a type of boxing. Let's not forget that the wushu originated from similar exercises.
