In the serene night

 

Opposite to the bed the moon shines
Perhaps it is the dew on the ground.
It lifts the head and sees the brilliant moon.
The fall and he remembers his native ground.

 

Li Bai (701-762) is one of the biggest poets of China. He was born and lived during the dynasty Tang, considered the golden Century of the Chinese poetry. Big analyst of the society of his epoch, his poems they reflect a dynasty to the beginning of his decline.
