The origin of the earthquakes between the Qiang

When Miba, the celestial father, was creating the sky and the ground, the sky was getting up and at once it was collapsing: it was collapsing to turn to raise. But the turtle was not finishing of becoming convinced. The Queen Mother called then his dog, and said to the turtle: "This dog is your uncle from now on. If you do not obey his words it will take you of the ear" The turtle was looking at the dog and he still did not want to support the sky. Then the dog got angry, and of a jump it was raised to the ear of the turtle, where it began barking and bitting it.

With the aching ear the turtle said: "Uncle, uncle. I go already, either go. Please do not throw me of the ear." Then the dog bent a jump. The big turtle inclined with big ceremony turning into the ground, his four paws rose in four directions turning into the columns that hold the sky. Of this form Miba it finished with creating sky and ground.

The big turtle after turning into the ground, at first there was times that one wanted to move, or that he wanted to blink. But whenever she was blinking in the ground there was an earthquake, and all the beings of the world were finding the misfortune. That's why, as soon as it was moving a little, the dog at once was bitting him, and she was already not daring to move, and all the beings of the ground lived calm.

For it, when there is an earthquake the men say "zhe, zhe, zhe", as calling the dog so that it controls to the turtle and calms the quake.
