The Yugu or Yugur call if the same Yaoyuer and Xilayuguer. The denomination Yugur is relatively recent, since only it begins being used after 1949. In fact the persons considered to be Yugur speak 3 different languages: - The western Yugur, of the Altaian family. They live in the province of Gansu, in the autonomous District of Sunan.
