Holiday of third of March between the Zhuang

Also it calls of "to be sung in the fields" or "to sing out of the caves" (because earlier they had his altars in the caves, and only when they were out they were singing)

It dates: On lunar March 3.

The origin: of the festival it owes the Third Sister Liu to itself, and in fact, the date of the festival says to itself that it coincides with that of his death. Although possibly it has a much more ancient origin, since there are numerous the peoples of the South of China that celebrate similar festivities in these dates.

He says the history that during the dynasty Tang there was living between the Zhuang a girl who was singing extraordinarily well, so well that the master of the area took a fancy of her, and without being able to obtain it for the good ones, it did it for the bad ones, when it had the Third Sister Liu in his power, met that this one was refusing to sing for him, therefore it ordered they will throw it to the river. Miraculously it survived this disaster, and after marrying a hunter kept on teaching to the Zhuang the art of the singing. The news about his new condition soon reached the ears of his cruel admirer, who again intervened in his existence, and murdering her and to his husband, it threw the bodies to a pond. From there the Zhuang extracted them on time of seeing as they were moving away flying in the air, while they were singing to loins of a fish. They say that thus it turned into a goddess.

Celebration: During the holiday it is sung for 3 days and 3 nights, sometimes only two persons, in unexpected dialogues, other times groups of young people, boys and girls who rise to a hill, and are sung in group being answered, and in other occasions up to hundreds or thousands of persons singing.
Also silk balls throw themselves, they are of many colors, and in general there are an affection sample for some person, therefore the girls usually throw them to the boys who please, if the boy gathers it it means that he also is interested for her. Other times it does a competition species to itself, and the one that fails in gathering it, has to sing a song.
